Albon, probably. Or one of the rookies like Antonelli or Hadjar. Still, they’d have to win for it to be as impactful as Hulkenberg’s third. Absolutely deserved.
Albon is my favorite current grid driver. I made custom AA23 fanshirts to take to the Montreal GP for me and my friends to wear. We had AA23 posters. If there was an Albodium, I think I'd die.
Damn I didn‘t realize his popularity went downhill like that. I didn‘t realize him being there at all tbh. Was one of the most popular drivers among neutrals till joining RB.
He's had two championships. Nico waited 15 years just for a first podium. Everyone is mentioning people who have already had podiums or haven't even been in F1 for that long. It isn't the same.
Alonso puts in a lot of work off the track in terms of engineering and development. When he’s salty, I think he’s salty in the “disappointed dad” sense: we did everything we could to succeed and still came up short.
