Surely nothing bad would come out of that, right? Meme

What if she had been able to grant Megumin's first wish and give her big booba instead of explosions?

u/dosmutungkatos Yunyun May 16 '25
alot more fan service beginning with this scene 😁😁

u/Andrecrafter42 Megumin May 16 '25
kazuma would fold like a omelet to MeguMAX
102
u/Gandalf_Style May 16 '25
He already folds to MeguMINI, he'd collapse into a black hole with MeguMAX.
57
u/Born_Arm6107 May 16 '25
Nah nah nah nah even better what if she had grant megu's real first wish...WORLD DOMINATION 😈🙏
15
u/awesomenessofme1 May 16 '25
I thought that was the second one?
68
u/Legal_Weekend_7981 May 16 '25
No, Megumin has her priorities straight:
1) World domination
2) Boobs
3) Half-assed world domination (become the demon king)
4) Food
5) Learning the strongest spell
32
u/Pataraxia May 16 '25
It's hilarious how we think explosion spell is her first prio and she said ALL of those before explosion lmao.

24
u/Born_Arm6107 May 16 '25
Nah she asked for world domination then when she said she cant grant her wish megu asked for big melons like her

u/awesomenessofme1 May 16 '25
I went back and watched a clip of it, you're correct. I remembered that those were one and two, but I guess I remembered the order differently.

the worst that could happen?
there’s a bit of a tragedy that both of them will experience…only one of them survives their next meeting/confrontation, one will brought to tears while the other smiles as she fades into memory.
63
u/superkami64 May 16 '25
The irony is worse than that. Wolbach is the only general that doesn't actively aggravate the Devil King yet this one action here ends up derailing his entire operation. Megumin's responsible for multiple general's demises and Kazuma ends up learning Explosion from her, which is what kills the Devil King.
41
u/dosmutungkatos Yunyun May 16 '25
the tragedy is that Megumin killed the very person who saved her life from the monster when she accidentally unsealed Lady Wolbach. the irony is that the very monster that tried to commit first degree murder on Megumin is now her “familiar”, Chomusuke.
i remember reading that chapter in the LN and was really struck by those twists. at the time, i hoped their reunion would be a bit more amicable. and then i reached that Volume, then that specific chapter. 🥺
27
u/superkami64 May 16 '25
It's softened by the fact Wolbach isn't technically dead as she just got absorbed into Chomusuke and remains aware to an extent since from then on, Chomusuke does respond to being called Wolbach.
18
u/ManInTheMirror2 Kazuma May 16 '25
it also kills her (sort of) but she is fine with it…probably because she is not actually dead.

u/Andrecrafter42 Megumin May 16 '25
nah aqua she kill hans, almost wiz, and the dullan dude from season 1
12
u/Davizaum2810 May 16 '25
In the case of Verdia, remember, he only decided to confront the adventurers at Axel because Megumin kept on casting Explosion on his castle
5
u/Euroversett May 17 '25
Megumin is the one to kill Hans and most generals.
Aqua has ever only killed one.
1
u/Andrecrafter42 Megumin May 17 '25
nope aqua killed him either her purification + punch combo
1
u/Euroversett May 17 '25
How do I say this without sounding rude?
You've not read the LN man, what you're saying is plain false.

One more thing. Let's not forget that her subordinates died because of Megumin

The lack of foresight on this decision is really funny. Should've just given her big booba somehow.

If she only knew

u/MoarVespenegas May 16 '25
I mean even without knowing how would giving explosion magic to a child not carry pretty serious considerations?
10
u/thisthatagain1 May 16 '25
Megumin just wants to watch the world burn

Do you think if she died and came back to life (by Aqua) her perspective on things would change?
2
u/Diligentsapienapple May 16 '25
Wasn't it the creation guy who created them?

Yes. But he modified them, they already existed…and were already crazy

Worst case scenario, she used it on some random haunted castle that happens to have evil dudes in it

(twelve years later) well that not a good look, hey you’ve aged well (explodes)

Kazuma: Hey Demon King
Demon king; What?
Kazuma: Wanna see what I learned from my chuuni midget?
Demon King: what did you learn?
Kazuma: 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝙇𝙊𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉-

u/Duga-Lam22 May 16 '25
I'd say something good happened. The Demon King was defeated a few years later.

Who is the pink haired girl?
2
u/Davizaum2810 May 16 '25
That's Wolbach. We first saw her chilling in the hot springs at Arcanletia back in season 2

She never got creative or adaptable at all it crippled her, but i dunno if thats even Wolbach's fault. I bet if Kazuma learned Explosion, he would lessen the power so he could raise the pins on a lock.

I love the irony here.
The Demon King: Wolbach was sensible enough not to give me headaches.
The general who taught Explosion Magic to the girl responsible for the death of many of his generals.
