There’s something that you should understand. It’s not body shaming. What happens in the male psyche is compensation because “inadequacy” This is why short dudes tend to drive big trucks or have the Napoleon complex or wanna fight everybody. This is why Donald Trump wears lifts and that French president guy wears lifts, even though he’s got a smoking, hot girlfriend. (I’m speculating, but I’m like 95% sure Trump has lifts. This is why he makes fun of the guys who have lifts. This is also why after the assassination attempt he was freaking out about his shoes.)

This is why men lie about their height on their dating profiles, which I was unaware of that evidently that’s a thing

So it’s not that it’s body shaming because we think he has a little dick. It’s that as men when you act like that it’s typically because you’re compensating… Or at least that’s the notion.

If I had to guess I’d say its somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 to 70% of men that act overly manly is because they’re feeling adequate somewhere else. Perhaps their height or their ability to get or maintain an erection or the size of their dick or whatever.

It’s a mental prison that we live in and it’s very difficult to navigate. Performance anxiety has caused me so much pain and grief when the fact is, if I could just get out of my head, I have no issues. In fact when I actually ordered Viagra and actually had it in the medicine cabinet, I literally did not need it for two months. Just knowing that I had it gave me the confidence to not need it without even meaning to. It is very difficult being a man and it has nothing to do with body shaming I promise.

But it has everything to do with body shaming and it's just an endless cycle.

People make comments like this saying that the cop must have a "small dick" because he's such an asshole. The inherent assumption here being that having a small dick is something to be ashamed of, and that it's such a shameful thing that this cop needs to overcompensate.

So more men just read this and walk away with the assumption that they should be ashamed of a perfectly natural part of themselves they can't control.

Sure, maybe some of them act out and overcompensate. But the vast majority just end up feeling bad about themselves.

So let's just stop the whole cycle. Let's stop dick shaming and just accept that they come in all sizes and shapes and no-one should be ashamed.

It has nothing to do with body shaming. I understand what you’re saying is that it could be construed as body shaming for somebody who’s not an asshole but also feel that he has a little dick, but that’s not what it is and I promise you if that were the case… They would understand that having a little dick is not what makes you have a little dick. Acting like a jackass because you’re compensating and you’re too much of a man baby to work on yourself to realize that you compensate is what makes you actually have a little dick.

And again “the inherit assumption” is merely your assumption and I promise you it’s not the right one. That’s not to say your assumption is the wrong one. I’m saying you’re looking at it from a perspective that is kind of closing your vision a little bit and giving you tunnel vision. In fact, anybody that would hold that assumption, so dearly is probably compensating in someway for their own feelings of inadequacy. That would kind of be the “exception that cruise the role” just because somebody’s not an asshole doesn’t mean they’re not compensating in someway.

But historically douche bags dickhead assholes they become cops because they feel inadequate somewhere else. My actually that’s generalization and I shouldn’t say that, but you know it’s usually one of two things. “I wanted people to respect me “or “I wanted to help people“

Anyway, I understand what you’re saying. But unfortunately, I can’t support it. I can’t get behind it because it has nothing to do with the size of the dick. It has to do with the size of the psyche that owns whatever dick that person feels inadequate with.

I am merely trying to offer something that I hope gives you a little bit of a better feeling. I genuinely want you to not feel upset next time you see something like that because you shouldn’t. You should feel Proud of yourself that you’re not a part of the little dick minded people.

Anytime I’m about to get with a girl I have to say “now just so you know I’m a grower not a shower “ because it’s just a part of most men to naturally wish we were more, especially with the way women are today. As far as being sexually open and willing to see how they want to get railed or whatever that’s a real shaming comes in.

You said the French president has a smoking hot girlfriend. Do less than 30 seconds of research and you’ll see how wrong that statement is. He married his school teacher, he was groomed. So ask yourself this, if you can be so confident and wrong about one thing, maybe other ideas you really believe in might be wrong. Your last paragraph shows you have a personal need to believe in that line of thinking, bc you yourself are a victim of it.

Also, while we're here. The "R" word really needs to be dropped. I've worked with adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities. They know the word. They know it means them. It causes real anguish and hurt.

Yes, words like "stupid" and "moron" used to be used that way. But they are not currently in use that way, so by all means, they should be used.

You can do whatever you like, I just want people to know that using the R word is not harmless.

We have free speech. You can choose to be an asshole. But please don't choose to be an asshole, or you resemble the cop in this video more than the dude the cop is picking on. <3

And I guarantee you somebody with a little dick who feels inadequate who is not an asshole nose that has nothing to do with them and it’s nothing at all that they need and probably don’t put any thought into. I’m not in any way trying to justify something that upsets everybody. I’m just pointing out that chances are you may not know what you’re talking about.

Let's compare for a second that poking at someone's insecurities by saying they have a "small dick" is very similar to another form of poking at a "macho" guys insecurities that was pretty commonplace just 20 years ago--calling them gay or using a gay slur.

They're both intrinsically just attacks on the person's masculinity based on something they can't change about themselves. They both equate this inherent feature to being bad, or wrong.

And both are problematic.

It isn't about the officer or his behaviour, it's that the comment makes any guy with a small dick think that it's something they should be ashamed of.

Almost anything where the insult doesn't target or ridicule a particular group for something beyond their control and cause that group to feel shame or derision.

I mean, we have been setting these boundaries and making these distinctions forever. It isn't new. This is why we don't use racial slurs anymore. Or gay slurs. Or slurs against differently abled people.

It's all part and parcel. Call him an asshole, or a dick, or a pig. None of those will feel badly about it.

Not actively seeking it out. But if I see it while I'm reading through a thread then I'll always just comment the same thing.

Maybe all I'll get is folks like you calling me weird. But maybe a few people will reflect on using phrases like that and in some small way I'll be able to help somebody not have to feel as ashamed of their body.
