There’s entire towns all built like this on coastal Texas waters

It’s hard to find places that aren’t threatened by some type of natural disaster but still desirable.

For many, the gamble is worth it for the location (especially coastline) or that’s just where cities and therefore jobs are.

Fault lines for earthquakes, droughts, floods, fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.
